Description
"Speak up! The Importance of the Agriculture Story"
Dave Coggins, EVP / Chief Banking Officer at Investors Community Bank
There is a lot of “fear marketing” going on in the world of agriculture right now, as different special interest groups try to advance their agenda and beliefs. Unfortunately, this type of marketing has been getting a lot of attention; even though the message is not always based on fact and only one side of the story is being told. “Speak up! The Importance of the Agriculture Story” will offer a glimpse into these efforts and the impact it is having on our ag industry. We will provide examples of tactics being used and help attendees separate fact from fiction. Agriculture has a compelling story to tell using data and science that will dispel many of the myths that are out there. Attendees will leave with valuable information on the true story of agriculture and learn how they can continue the conversation personally and professionally and be an agriculture advocate.
Updates from local officials will follow the presentation; time permitting.
