Federal Wage and Hour Refresher – The Essentials!
The U.S. Department of Labor-Wage and Hour Division (WHD) receives questions from a lot of employers related to compensable hours issues under the Fair Labor Standards Act: When must meal breaks be paid? Are pre-shift and post-shift activities compensable? What about travel time for deliveries or time spent in training or meetings? This webinar will provide the answers to these and other important questions being asked by many employers everywhere. And as a bonus, the session will also provide critical guidance on which employees are exempt from overtime and what factors are used by DOL-WHD to identify those that aren’t. Bring all of your wage-hour questions to this Fair Labor Standards Act – Hours Worked Refresher!
