Wisconsin's Economy - Best in 15 Years
John Koskinen, Chief Economist, Wisconsin Department of Revenue

According to the state’s Chief Economist, Wisconsin’s economic performance is the best it has been in 15 years. John Koskinen says the unemployment rate is approaching an all-time low, the labor force participation rate is one of the top in the country and the state’s economic growth rate ranks 13th in the nation.

A Collaborative Approach to Talent Recruitment: “The Build It Bus Tour-Construction Trades”

This a new program done collaboratively between the Manitowoc County Home Builder Association, The Chamber, and the schools across Manitowoc County. It is a hands on approach to showcasing careers in the trades including, Carpentry, Electric, Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Masonry. Learn how putting 60 students through a day of bus tours can enhance awareness of your available careers.
