Lt. Paul Schermetzler of the Manitowoc Police Department will be speaking about Workplace Violence/Active Shooter.  "Severe acts of violence in the workplace: What do you do?"  It doesn't matter if you are in manufacturing or retail, there is always a potential for severe acts of violence at your location and knowing how Police have changed their response to these types of calls is imperative.  Lt. Schermetzler will review what you can expect from Police responding to this type of call and what your roll is to minimize injuries and casualties.  Learn also what is available to you from the police department to improve your locations safety concerning these violent acts.
