YP Lunch N' Learn- Tips for Millennia...
Description
The Young Professionals of Manitowoc County and Silver Lake College of the Holy Family invite you to a professional development opportunity on leadership titled, “Tips for Millennials in a 21st Century Age of Leadership.”
This presentation discusses resiliency as a trait effective leaders must sustain. It also places resiliency in the context of a resonant style of leadership. Why these two concepts? The Young Professionals network consists largely of Millennials who happen to be the largest segment, but only partially comprise the current 21st Century workforce.
The challenges faced include developing and sustaining relations with members of other generations, as well as effectively navigating the magnitude and frequency of change. This requires energy, and all too often today’s leaders do not invest in options to renew that spent energy. A sustainable, personal best requires energy, and presented are thoughts and tips on building resiliency, renewal, and why a resonant style of leadership should be considered.
Lunch will be offered for a cost of $9. It will include your choice of sub sandwich with salad, chips, cookie and soda/water. Lunch is optional; guests are welcome to attend free of charge without the purchase of lunch.
