Job Description
Bitter Neumann continues to grow and is seeking a Service Department Utility Associate to perform an array of appliance service-related duties. This utility position’s responsibilities may change from day to day, depending on the needs of the business and its valued customers.
 
Duties include:
Troubleshoot service issues over the phone and in person
Schedule service calls
Perform in-shop repair of appliances
Process warranty claims and related bookwork
Check in and maintain service parts inventory
Make in-home service calls as necessary
 
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
 
Proven Skills:
Mechanical ability
Computer knowledge of Word, Excel and the internet
Understanding of local geographical area
Ability to lift heavy items
Ability to work independently
Excellent written and organizational skills
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Drive for superior customer service
Conflict resolution skills
Positive Attitude
Personal initiative and drive
 
Benefits:
This full-time hourly position is Monday through Friday, with an occasional Saturday rotation. Hands-on job training is provided. Full benefits include Paid Flex time, Health, Dental, and Life Insurance, 401k and Employee Discounts.
