A New Home for Manitowoc Coffee at Union Square

April 20, 2021
MANITOWOC, WI – April 19, 2021 – Manitowoc Coffee & Manitowoc Coffee Roasters has announced plans to upscale by relocating to a new downtown Manitowoc location that offers more space to accommodate onsite coffee roasting and a full kitchen. Manitowoc Coffee’s new home will be in the newly renovated Union Square complex in the River North District at York and N. 7th Streets.

Peter and Teri Stemper, owners of Manitowoc Coffee, have been working with Mike Howe of Mike Howe Builders to create the perfect experience for customers. In addition to everything customers have come to know and love about Manitowoc Coffee, there are exciting plans. Manitowoc Coffee will now have a full kitchen to expand food offerings. A full kitchen will allow Manitowoc Coffee to feature everything currently on its menu plus a full breakfast and lunch menu. Some of the delicious features include omelets, crepes, pancakes, full egg dishes, the much-needed healthy breakfast and lunch options, power packed protein shakes, and more!

Mike Howe is also crafting a specialized Coffee Roasting space where customers can view the coffee roasting process and learn more about it. Manitowoc Coffee is proud to serve coffee drinks in which every bean has been roasted right here in Manitowoc by Manitowoc Coffee Roasters. Serving as Master Roaster, Peter is able to custom roast beans for a customer’s ideal brew.

“We love our customers and want to continue serving them by offering these exciting expanded offerings,” commented co-owner Teri Stemper. “Do you have a favorite breakfast or lunch recipe that is healthy, vegan, vegetarian or gluten free that you’d like to see on the menu? Submit your ideas to us. If we use it, you’ll receive a $25 gift certificate. We strive to provide an atmosphere at Manitowoc Coffee that is warm, welcoming, comfortable and your go-to spot to enjoy part of your day.”

“The new coffee roasting space and viewing area is a unique new offering for the lakeshore area,” remarked co-owner Peter Stemper. “Roasting beans for the perfect cup of coffee is something I love, and I look forward to sharing the experience with customers. We are thankful to Mike Howe for working closely with us to make this transition.”

“This is exciting news,” stated Mike Howe of Mike Howe Builders. “Manitowoc Coffee will be one of the highlights at the new Flats at Union Square complex with a full kitchen, roasting house, and expanded indoor and outdoor seating.”
