Bank First Announces Recent Promotions April 2025
MANITOWOC, WI, March 31, 2025 – Bank First (NASDAQ: BFC) is pleased to announce the promotions of four dedicated members of its team. The promotions of Emily Zucchi, Steve Diehl, Josiah Gamroth, and Eli Hicks highlight the Bank’s ongoing efforts to recognize and reward excellence while ensuring the highest level of service for its valued customers.
Emily Zucchi has been promoted to Assistant Vice President – Marketing. Since joining Bank First in 2019 as a Marketing Specialist, Emily has advanced through roles, including Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing Officer. In her new role, Emily will play a key role in the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to elevate the Bank’s brand and drive customer engagement. She will continue collaborating closely with teams across the Bank to align efforts with the organization’s mission, enhance the customer experience, and expand the Bank’s community impact through digital and traditional channels. Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from UW-La Crosse and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing from UW-Whitewater. She is also a graduate of the Lakeshore Technical College Inspiring Leadership Series and Leadership Manitowoc County Program. Emily is an active member of 100+ Women Who Care Manitowoc County and lives in Manitowoc with her husband, daughter, and three pets. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the outdoors.
Steve Diehl has been promoted to Business Banking Officer. He joined Bank First in October 2019 as a Credit Analyst Intern, transitioned to a full-time Credit Analyst upon graduating from UW-Oshkosh, and most recently advanced to Business Banking Representative where he has played an integral role in underwriting complex credits and supporting the Bank's growth through mergers and expansions. In his new role, Steve will focus on building relationships with new and existing clients, establishing trust and open communication to support long-term business success. He is committed to helping businesses thrive by providing financial solutions and value-added insights beyond traditional banking services, including industry trends, market opportunities, and strategic financial guidance. Steve earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from UW–Oshkosh, his master’s degree with an emphasis in finance, and a Corporate Finance Certificate from UW-Whitewater. Active in his community, Steve serves as a board member and treasurer of the Eastern Ridge Home Builders Association, on the Advisory Committee for the Fond du Lac Young Professionals, and contributes to the Program and Events Committee. He also volunteers as a youth mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fond du Lac. Additionally, he was selected to attend the inaugural Wisconsin Bankers Association Leadership Academy. Steve and his wife, Jenna, reside in Fond du Lac. In his free time, Steve enjoys working on his family’s 1,000-acre beef farm and following Wisconsin sports teams, including the Brewers, Bucks, Packers, and Wisconsin Herd.
Josiah Gamroth has been promoted to Retail Banking Officer. Josiah joined Bank First in February 2022 as a Retail Banker and has quickly proven his ability to foster strong relationships and support customers with their financial goals. With 13 years of lending experience, Josiah has a deep understanding of both conventional and government loan programs. His expertise has allowed him to confidently and carefully guide individuals and families through complex financial situations. In his new role, Josiah will continue to develop new and enhance existing retail banking relationships in the Bank’s Watertown market, providing tailored financial solutions that meet customers’ unique needs. He will also play a key role in further strengthening the Bank’s community ties and its long-term growth in the area. Josiah holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI. A dedicated community member, Josiah is an Affiliate Member of the Jefferson County Board of Realtors and an active participant in the Watertown Chamber of Commerce, where he supports local business initiatives. Outside of the office, Josiah enjoys staying active by taking daily walks around Fowler Lake in Oconomowoc, working out at the YMCA, and attending local events, where he often represents Bank First and engages with the community.
Eli Hicks has been promoted to Business Banking Officer. Eli joined the Bank in 2019 as a Business Banking Analyst, supporting the business loan department through credit underwriting and assisting with the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program. In 2022, he was promoted to Business Banking Representative, where he continued to develop commercial relationships and provide financial solutions for businesses. In his new role, Eli will further support and grow commercial relationships within the Northeast Region while taking on a more active role in mentoring and developing future bankers in the Green Bay market. Eli earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics with a minor in political science and a Master’s degree in applied economics from the University of North Dakota. An active member of the Green Bay community, Eli serves on the City of Green Bay's Revolving Loan Fund Committee, the Allouez Business Association Board, and the BNI Harbor Masters Chapter. He is also a recent graduate of Leadership Green Bay and remains active in the community through his involvement with Highland Crest Baptist Church. Eli lives in Green Bay and enjoys spending time with family, coaching, playing, and watching hockey.
