MANITOWOC, WI—High blood pressure or hypertension is called the "silent killer" because it has no warning signs and increases your risk for heart disease, stroke, and other serious health problems. Is your blood pressure in the safe range? Find out and learn how to keep your blood pressure under control in the program "Blood Pressure: What Do the Numbers Mean?" Thursday, October 25, at River's Bend Health Services. Have your blood pressure checked from 11:00 a.m.-noon followed by a presentation by Dr. Pradeep Giriyappa, MD. The program is free of charge. A light lunch will be served. Contact River's Bend at 920-684-1144 to reserve your spot.
