MANITOWOC, WI—Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center’s elves are excited to announce an expanded holiday experience for 2025, transforming the month of December into a festive celebration of Wisconsin agriculture. This month-long celebration takes place each Saturday and select additional days from December 6 through January 3.
Wagon rides, a special outdoor holiday barnyard featuring beloved farm animals, holiday decor, and an outdoor fire pit complement the Center’s regular exhibits, virtual farm tour and Land O’Lakes Birthing Barn. All experiences are included with the regular discovery center admission.
In addition to the daily holiday offerings, this year’s programming features three special events:
Breakfast at the North Pole – Saturday, December 6 from 8:30 AM to 12 PM
A magical morning awaits as Santa and Mrs. Claus welcome families for a memorable start to the holiday season. Guests can share their Christmas wishes, capture cherished photos with live reindeer, enjoy farm-fresh breakfast items throughout holiday food stations, and snuggle a Santa-dressed calf. Reservations are required, as specific time slots fill quickly.
Holiday Pajama Party: A Night on the Farm – Friday, December 19 from 5 PM to 8 PM
For one special night, young guests are invited to wear their pajamas and experience the warm night glow of holiday lights after dusk. The front of the building will feature agriculture-themed photo opportunities perfect for holiday pictures, and families can gather in the café for dinner including kid-friendly favorites.
Lamers Dairy Countdown to Noon – Wednesday, December 31 from 9 AM to 12:30 PM
Lamers Dairy and Farm Wisconsin team up to host a New Year’s Eve celebration perfect for guests with children. When the clock strikes noon, a magical balloon drop will take place followed by a NYE milk toast to welcome the year ahead.
“I’m incredibly grateful to our staff, volunteers and community supporters for bringing this ambitious vision to life,” says Farm Wisconsin Executive Director Patty Lehn. “Families look to us for wholesome fun, and the month of special activities helps further connect consumers with agriculture.”
