Felician Village Announces Second Annual “Mrs. Roper’s Romp” Fundraiser Event to Support Pub and Patio Project

MANITOWOC, Wis. (January 16, 2025) – Felician Village, a senior life plan campus dedicated to enriching the lives of its residents, is excited to announce the return of their upcoming fundraising event, the second annual “Mrs. Roper’s Romp.” The event aims to raise additional funds for a highly requested and desired pub and patio area at Felician Village.

The “Mrs. Roper’s Romp” fundraiser event is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 5 -9 p.m., at the Inn on Maritime Bay, located at 101 Maritime Drive, Manitowoc.

Landlords to the infamous Three’s Company roommates, Jack, Chrissy, and Janet; Helen and Stanley Roper became their own TV sitcom celebrities. Mrs. Roper’s symbolism of the spirit of unity, joy, and camaraderie is easily comparable to the desires of our Felician Village residents who wish to remain independent, healthy, active, happy, and engaged. Highlights of the event include a DJ, raffle baskets, wine pull, BINGO and other games, a photo area, and 50/50 raffles.

The inaugural event held in 2024 was a smashing success, raising over $45,000 and allowing Felician Village to begin the first phase of the project, an outdoor patio space. The next phase, a redesigned and upgraded pub area in the Wisconsin Room, will begin in 2025.

Tickets for the “Mrs. Roper’s Romp” event are available to purchase Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Saturday-Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Felician Village, 1635 S. 21st Street, Manitowoc. Pre-sale tickets are $20 or available the day of the event at the door for $25. Tickets include entry to the event, appetizers, and one drink ticket. Various sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses, organizations, and individuals looking to support this worthy cause.
