The Manitowoc County Historical Society, 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc, will hold its annual Library Card Free Day in conjunction with the Manitowoc-Calumet Library system on Saturday, May 24 from 10 am to 4 pm. Visitors can show their Manitowoc-Calumet Library system card and gain free access to the museum and village for the day.
A full slate of activities and experiences will take place as part of Library Card Free Day.
- A story time will be presented at 12:30 pm with the Manitowoc Public Library in Pinecrest Village's one room schoolhouse, Shadyside School.
- A variety of make-and-take activities will also be available for youth inside Shadyside School.
The Library Card Free Day, presented in partnership with the Manitowoc Public Library, Lester Public Library, and Brillion Public Library is one of the many opportunities the Historical Society offers with local libraries. In addition to the Library Card Free Day, guests can also check out passes at the Manitowoc Public Library and the Brillion Public Library to visit on any general admission day.
