Manitowoc, WI, March 15, 2018—The Manitowoc Public Library Children Services April Programming is scheduled with the following events and dates:
 
Family Activity Night (Tuesdays @ 6:30 pm)
April 3: Fun with 4-H!
April 10: Read to Certified Therapy Dogs
April 17: Dollars During Development
April 24: World Book Day Party!
 
Toddler Time (Tuesdays & Wednesdays @ 9:30 am Thursdays @ 6:30 pm geared for the 2 and under set) @ 10:30 am Tuesdays & Wednesdays (geared for the 2 and older set)
Story Time (Saturdays @ 10 am, geared to preschoolers)
April 3-7: Silly Stories
April 10-14: Books! Books! Books!
April 17-21: Hop-a-Lot!
April 24-28: Healthy Smiles
 
NEW!  Thursday Evening Baby Lapsit @ 6:30 pm Geared for infants and toddlers under the age of 2 and their adult caregiver.  Baby Lapsit is 20 minutes of stories, songs, rhymes, bounces, parachute activities and bubbles followed by 20 minutes of age appropriate play time.
 
Certified Therapy Dogs: TUESDAY April 10th @ 6:30 pm (Kids read to certified therapy dogs)
 
Theater for the Very Young
April 13th @ 10 am Second Friday of the month from 10-11 am.
 
Tween Time: Tie Dye T-Shirts & Candy Sushi April 9th @ 4:00 pm
Too old for Story Time?  Not old enough for Teen programming?  Then Tween time is for you!  Tween Time is geared for children in grades 2-6 who are able to work independently. 
 
Coding Club:  April 23rd @ 4:00 pm
Student-driven discovery activities and projects that will develop your coding skills and show you how much fun coding can be!  No registration needed.
 
Music & Movement: April 27th @ 10:00 am
Music “& Movement is a movement-based, early literacy rich program for young children ages 2-5 and their adult caregiver.  Join us we move, groove, and boogie along with the beat!  Stories, meaningful movement and fun dancing with scarves, egg shakers, rhythm sticks, parachutes and more!
 
Special Programs:
SUPER HERO SATURDAY April 28th @ 9:00-1:00
Crafts, photo opportunities, scavenger hunts and special appearance by some Super Heroes!  This is a day full of fun for the whole family!  Save the date!
