Yoga for Beginners, Saturday, November 3, 9:30 AM. Join us for beginning yoga with certified yoga instructor, Ariane Gunderson. Balkansky Community Room.
Lakeshore Grief Support, Monday, November 5, 6:00 PM-7:30 PM. Lakeshore Grief Support Programs is a non-profit volunteer organization of people who are trained and committed to helping all people of all walks of life through the difficult journey of grief.  We are not professional counselors, but we are people who believe that the support we can give each other when going through loss of a loved one is powerful and healing. Franklin Street Room.
Manitowoc Tavern History with Joe Kazda, Wednesday, November 7, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. Time to belly up to the bar—the Bar of Knowledge, that is—for another round of Manitowoc Tavern History! Joe Kazda and an array of Special Guest speakers will share their unique knowledge of Manitowoc’s rich barroom Glory Days. Indian Effigy Mounds of Wisconsin with Bob Birmingham, Monday, November 12, 6:00 PM-7:30 PM. More ancient Native American mounds were built in Wisconsin than in any other region of North America―an astonishing 15 to 20,000, of which 4,000-plus remain. Most impressive are the effigy mounds—huge earthwork sculptures shaped like thunderbirds, water panthers, and more. Please join us for author and archeologist Robert Birmingham’s presentation on these historic, sacred places. Balkansky Community Room.

Pop Art! Wednesday, November 14, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. Join Silver Lake College Associate Art Professor, Erin LaBonte, as she guides participants through step-by-step instructions as they create their own version of an Andy Warhol Campbell’s Soup Can painting. And what would go better with the creation of pop art than a refreshing hard soda or craft soda? All supplies (canvas, paint, brushes) will be provided. Why not tell yours at “BOO!”—the second installment of MPL’s and Gorehouse—we mean, Courthouse Pub’s storytelling series. Sign-up begins at 5:30 PM.
