Youth Library Advisory Board (Y.L.A.B.): Anti-Valentine’s Day Party!
February 12, 6:00pm, Franklin Street Room
Can’t stand the stench of love in the air? Join us for a party this is all ANTI-Valentine’s Day. There will be fun games, crafts, and food to be had!
The Youth Library Advisory Board is a group of dedicated students (6th Grade-12th Grade) who are interested in helping plan library programs for themselves and their friends. We’re open to all ideas and appreciate feedback. The group meets the second Tuesday of each month for a short meeting and an interactive project such as a craft or game. Snacks are always provided!
Video Game Emulator: Play Original 8-Bit Games!
February 20, 6:00pm, Franklin Street Room
Learn how to make your own video game emulator using a Raspberry Pi. Registration Required! Registration begins February 4.
Teen Lock-In: Murder Mystery Night
February 22, 6:30-9:00pm, Manitowoc Public Library
Someone’s been murdered in the library. Who may be the killer amongst us? Use your skills of observation and the answer will be pure elementary, Watson, my dear friend. Join us for a night of mystery Sherlock Holmes style!
Participants are asked to arrive no earlier than 6:30pm. A signed permission form is REQUIRED for entry to the afterhours programs. Space is limited! Permission forms will be available a week prior to each event. See Children’s Desk for permission forms and more information!
