MCHS Summer Storybook Village Literacy Series Begins June 15
 
The Manitowoc County Historical Society, 924 Pinecrest Road, Manitowoc, will begin the summer series of its youth reading program, Storybook Village, on Friday, June 15 at 10 am. Programs will take place on Fridays, beginning June 15 until July 27, from 10:15 to 11:00 am.
 
Visitors will take part in story time and an activity. The series is focused on ages 8 and younger. Participants will meet at the Visitor Center to begin the program. The theme for this summer’s series is Little House on the Prairie. Participants are encouraged to read books at home throughout the summer and earn weekly prizes by visiting the museum for Storybook Village.
 
Storybook Village programs are included in the day’s admission to Pinecrest Historical Village.  Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for children (5-17), and free for children under the age of 5.
