Metro Jam 2025 Coming to Manitowoc This Weekend
 
MANITOWOC, WI – June 16, 2025 – Metro Jam is rolling into downtown Manitowoc this weekend for the 46th Annual two-day FREE admission event with a thrilling lineup of international, national, regional and local artists.  Metro Jam will be held on the MetroStage at Washington Park in downtown Manitowoc, Wisconsin on Friday and Saturday, June 20 and 21, 2025.
 
Metro Jam’s Saturday headliners are the Minneapolis-rooted band The Jayhawks, recognized as a driving force and inspiration behind the growing Americana movement in the early 1990s.  The Jayhawks take the stage at 8:30pm on Saturday, June 21, 2025.  The Friday Metro Jam lineup will feature 60’s British Northern Soul purveyors, The Periodicals from Madison, WI capping off the evening at 8:00pm on Friday, June 20, 2025Here is the complete Metro Jam 2025 run down:

The full Metro Jam lineup is loaded with diverse artists including on Friday, June 20th the modern/traditional country of Jimi Anderson and classic rock favorites from Appleton’s Bad Haji topped off by The Periodicals at 8pm.  On Saturday, June 21st the day kicks off with the acoustic stylings of Murphy Blvd followed by Milwaukee sensations, The Taxmen with a salute to the Beatles and much more.  Manitowoc favorites LaForce 3 Peace will light up the mid-afternoon followed by Milwaukee Summerfest alums Louie & The Flashbombs playing cuts from their two recent record releases.  Featured acts on Saturday evening include the original alternative rock of Des Moines, IA based group Dickie, making their first area appearance followed by singer/guitarist Ariel Posen and his band from Montreal, Canada.  Metro Jam wraps up Saturday night with festival headliners, The Jayhawks serving up their unique alt-country rock blend beginning at 8:30pm.
 
As always, this FREE two day event features an array of international, national, regional and local acts covering a full spectrum of musical styles including jazz, blues, soul, folk, alt-country, Americana, classic rock, original rock and more.  Metro Jam features 10 different acts over the two days of the festival.  This FREE concert is made possible due to support from our much appreciated “Presenting Sponsors” Manitowoc Public Utilities, The West Foundation and Novak’s Service Center along with our fine media partner SeehaferNews.com and all of our great sponsors!!
 
Metro Jam is a truly unique music festival that attracts fans from around the Midwest and brings well-known national level performers to Manitowoc.  The Green Bay Press Gazette has described Metro Jam as “the musical oasis in the busy Wisconsin festival scene.”  Metro Jam offers a chance for friends to join together at Manitowoc’s beautiful Washington Park to enjoy great live music.
 
Metro Jam is presented in partnership with the Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary Club/Two Rivers Rotary Club who will also coordinate the beverage and food concessions for Metro Jam.  We are very happy to partner with them in continuing the tradition of Metro Jam giving back to the community.  Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary Club/Two Rivers Rotary Club food and beverage concessions at Metro Jam provide a great source of funding for their community support efforts.
