Manitowoc, WI, May 18, 2018—The Manitowoc Public Library January Adult Events are scheduled on the following dates and times:
 
Lakeshore Grief Support, Monday, June 4, 6:00 PM-7:30 PM. Lakeshore Grief Support Programs is a non-profit volunteer organization of people who are trained and committed to helping all people of all walks of life through the difficult journey of grief.  We are not professional counselors, but we are people who believe that the support we can give each other when going through loss of a loved one is powerful and healing. Franklin Street Room.
 
Lakeshore Memory Café, Wednesday, June 6, 10:00 AM-11:30 AM. Lakeshore Memory Café provides a comfortable and non-judgmental environment in which persons with dementia, their families and their caregivers can interact and enjoy the company of others experiencing similar challenges. Balkansky Community Room.
 
Computer Classes: Intro to Microsoft Word, Wednesday, June 6, 10:00 AM-Noon; Tuesday, June 12, 6:00 PM-8 PM; Friday, June 22, Noon-2:00 PM. Classes will meet in the Library Board Room.

Libraries Rock!: 2018 Summer Reading Program Kick-Off, Monday, June 11, 9:00 AM-8:00 PM. Button making, Rock Star Photo Op, balloons, and more! Start your summer off right by signing up for the Summer Reading Program. This 8-week program for all ages is filled with special guests, fun activities, weekly prizes, and READING! State of Craft Beer with Matt Janzen, Wednesday, June 13, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Balkansky Community Room. State of Craft Beer is a unique journey through the beer-making process, following the raw products as they make their way from fields to factories, through breweries, and ultimately into our glasses. This event will also feature a tasting of local craft brew from Sabbatical Brewing Company and Courthouse Pub and everyone in attendance will receive a free limited-edition Manitowoc Public Library bottle opener! State of Craft Beer is open to ages 21 and older. You’ll arrive thirsty for knowledge, but you’ll leave fully krausened!
