Nominations Now Open for the Volunteer Center's Impact Awards
Manitowoc, Wisconsin (February 17, 2025) United Way Manitowoc County is excited to announce the first annual Volunteer Center’s Impact Awards! This brand new event celebrates the dedication and impact of volunteers who make a difference in Manitowoc County.
This event takes place on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Inn on Maritime Bay, Manitowoc, 7:15-9:00am and will include breakfast catered by Our Legacy Restaurant.
The Impact Awards will recognize volunteers in the following categories:
- Up & Coming Volunteer Award – Honors an individual age 18 or younger who has shown initiative in community involvement.?
- Lifetime Achievement Volunteer Award – Celebrates an individual with a lifelong commitment to volunteerism and significant contributions to the community.
- Volunteer of the Year Award – Recognizes an individual who has gone above and beyond through volunteerism in the past year.
- Volunteer Leadership Award – Acknowledges a volunteer demonstrating exceptional leadership and community impact.
- Team Volunteer Award – Honors a team that has volunteered together on a community project.
