Roncalli High School senior Lusk signs national letter of intent

MANITOWOC, Wis. — Roncalli High School, part of Roncalli Catholic Schools, is pleased to share senior Maya Lusk signed her national letter of intent with the University of Wisconsin-Stout Feb. 9.
 
Lusk, daughter of Brett and Mary Lusk, will be participating in track and field at UW-Stout after graduating from Roncalli High School in spring 2021. Lusk has been a student-athlete all four years of high school – playing four years of volleyball, basketball, and track and field, and one year of softball.
 
“Maya's dedication in the classroom, on the track and in the gym has proven how great of a teammate she has been throughout the years,” said Nathan Kaderabek, athletic director for Roncalli Catholic Schools. “As she moves forward with her schooling and athletic career, we know she will be very successful in all avenues. We wish Maya the best of luck as she continues her athletic career at Stout.”  

Lusk has participated in the long jump (16’2”), 100-meter dash (13.3 seconds) and various relays during her time at Roncalli High School. She was able to make it to sectionals her freshman and sophomore year, but was unable to go her junior year due to the pandemic canceling her season.
 
Lusk plans to pursue a degree in psychology at UW-Stout.
