Acts of the Apostles presented by Paul Schweigl, Th.D.
Easter Sunday had come and gone, having made clear that Jesus truly is Christ and Lord. What remained to be seen, though, was whether anyone would take up the commission to spread the Good News. This session will explore Acts of the Apostles, the riveting story of how the Church rallied to carry Christ’s mission forward.

Paul Schweigl is a Roncalli alumnus, holding degrees from St. Norbert College, the University of
Notre Dame, and La Salle University. He has taught theology at Roncalli since 2011. He lives in Sheboygan with his wife and three children and is a member of Holy Name of Jesus parish.

The Worship of the Eucharist Outside of Liturgy presented by the Rev. David Beaudry, M.A.
This presentation will explore and assess in a very modest way the liturgical, historical and theological evolution of the worship of the Eucharist outside of the Liturgy (Mass) and its pastoral significance in the life of the Church today.

A graduate of Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and a priest of the Diocese of Green Bay for 42 years, Fr. Dave Beaudry currently serves as pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle in Newton and Roncalli Catholic Schools as Director of Mission and Discipleship. He also completed 25 years as Instructor with the former Holy Family College, Manitowoc.

Auditorium Marriage: a Vocation of Love and Self Gift presented by Dianne Vadney, M.T.S.
The most common of vocations lived by Catholics is within the married state. Learn more deeply how marriage can be a school of love training spouses to engage in humility, sacrifice and generosity.

Dianne Vadney is both an alum and a former campus minister for Roncalli, and parent of two current students at the high school. She earned her undergraduate degree from The Catholic University of America and her Master of Theological Studies from the John Paul II Institute of Studies for Marriage and Family in Washington, D.C. She has worked in ministry for youth, families and college students and is the Director of Campus Ministry at Marian University in Fond du Lac. She and her husband, Greg, are members of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Manitowoc and are blessed to be parenting their six children, spanning in age from freshmen in college to 4K.

The Women of the Genealogy of Jesus presented by Callie Hynek, M.A.
This presentation will delve into the lives of figures such as Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and Mary, examining their unique stories and roles in salvation history. We will discuss how these women, often overlooked, demonstrate strength, faith and God's providence, revealing profound insights into the broader narrative of Scripture. Together, we'll reflect on the significance of their inclusion in the lineage of Christ and what it teaches us about God’s inclusive love and the importance of women in the faith journey.

Callie Hynek joined the Roncalli staff in 2021 after serving in youth and parish ministry with the Diocese of Green Bay for several years. She graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2019 with a master’s degree in catechetics and evangelization and is currently pursuing certification from the Theology of the Body Institute. In the classroom, she currently teaches sophomore theology and a senior elective while also serving as co-campus minister with Mr. Taylor Geiger. She resides in Two Rivers with her husband and two sons.
