The Forst Inn Arts Collective presents the classic Sondheim musical, Sweeney Todd, from November 1 - 23  at The Forst Inn in Tisch Mills.
 
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is a darkly thrilling musical by Stephen Sondheim that blends razor-sharp wit with chilling suspense. Set in Victorian London, it tells the tale of Sweeney Todd, a barber who returns from exile to seek vengeance against the corrupt judge who destroyed his life. With the help of the resourceful and twisted Mrs. Lovett—whose meat pies gain a gruesome new ingredient—Todd unleashes a tale of revenge, madness, and murder. Featuring a hauntingly beautiful score and unforgettable characters, Sweeney Todd is a macabre masterpiece that slices deep into the heart of justice, obsession, and morality.
 
The show is directed by Michael Sheeks with music direction by David Bowman. The show is led by Chris Mayze as Sweeney and Erin LaFond as Mrs. Lovitt. They are supported by Core McElroy (Judge Turpin), Emilee Carroll (Beggar Woman), Isabella Dippel (Johanna), Gavin Annette (Beadle Bamford), Jake Puestow (Anthony), Sailor McDonough (Tobey), Zach Glaeser (Pirelli), and Phillip Jindra (Jonas Fogg). The ensemble includes Hannah Koechel, Maddie Budner, Tessa Komorowski Jindra, Ross Dippel, and Joey Simmons.
 
The Artistic team rounds out the production with Hannah Otto (Stage Manager), Alex Stylenson and Karter Mueller (Properties), Claran LaViolette (Costumes), Jeff LaFond (Sound) and Kevin James Sievert (Lights and Stage Movement).  
 
The Forst Inn Arts Collective presents theatre and music events in the historic spaces of The Forst Inn in Tisch Mills. The organization hosts ten mainstage theatrical productions each year as well as several smaller shows. Informal musical performances precede most theatre events and over the year several ticketed mainstage music events are hosted as well.
