VERVE RANKS AMONG NATION’S BEST CREDIT UNIONS TO WORK FOR
OSHKOSH, Wisc. (September 20, 2018) – Verve, a Credit Union, made Credit Union Journal’s 2018 Best Credit Unions to Work For list for the second year in a row. The nationwide list is determined through a lengthy questionnaire on benefits and policies, as well as an in-depth survey completed by employees.
Verve team members from across 15 locations answered a detailed questionnaire on what they love about working at Verve, covering unique team member benefits, special recognition programs, promoting fun in the workplace and more.
“We are humbled to receive the honor of being ranked one of the best credit unions to work for two years in a row,” Sarah Fecht, vice president of talent management at Verve, said. “Our culture is at the heart of all we do, and we’ve been intentional about building and sustaining a servant-leadership culture to help each team member serve with passion and enthusiasm. Seventy-five percent of the award was determined by the feedback our team members gave, and it means so much to know our team members believe in what we're doing at Verve.”
Verve takes a comprehensive approach to team member development, going beyond job duties and focusing on culture and wellness.
“We invest in our team members' success by offering an environment that supports the whole person—personally and professionally—and our members feel the difference,” Kevin Ralofsky, president and CEO of Verve, said. “We know that an engaged team is inspired to do great things, and we believe it is at the heart of the difference Verve can make in the community.”
Some unique aspects of the Verve work environment include servant leadership training, a robust wellness program that recently earned a WELCOA Well Workplace Gold Award, casual attire days that raise money for charity, opportunities to participate in acts of kindness in the community known as Random Acts of Verve, and helping with the 350 plus community events Verve supports each year.
